Jumping and running was the theme for the day as students did their part in the Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser. Student gathered pledges and donations for the cause and then on Thursday, Feb. 13 the studeents got busy and had a blast jumping, walking and running. Top fundraisers for the Elementary and Middle School-High School would earn a day as the Principal. All students were eligible to be a pie thrower for raising the most money in their respective grade. Students were able to choose who would get their pie from the following staff volunteers: Craig Euneau, Tim Rand, Jessica Hutchinson, Dion Doyle and Andrew Gavol.
On Monday Feb. 10 it was time to throw pies and celebrate the awesome job the students did. Winners included: LaShaun Bressette (Pre-K) pie thrower and Principal for the Day; Elleyna Taylor (K); Leah Bildeau (1st); Tim DeBrot (2nd); Quintin Thomas (3rd); Andreanna Acosta (4th); Destiny Corbine (5th); Nay Nay Gokey (6th); Savion Miller (7th); Cheyenne Hudson (8th); Arianne Crone (10th); and Leroy Mustache (12th) pie thrower and Principal for the Day. The entire school celebrated with Subway sandwiches for lunch.
